Import & Enhance Products

This is where ProdUp really shines. Instead of manually copying product titles, descriptions, images, and variants from your supplier's website, you paste a link and ProdUp does everything for you.

Import your first product

In your ProdUp dashboard:

1. Click "Import Product"
2. Paste the product URL from AliExpress, Amazon, CJ Dropshipping, or any Shopify store
3. ProdUp fetches all product data: title, description, images, variants, pricing
4. Review the imported data and click "Save"

The whole process takes about 10 seconds. Compare that to manually creating a product in Shopify — copying images one by one, writing descriptions from scratch, setting up variants. ProdUp saves you hours.

Enhance with AI

Here's where it gets interesting. Raw product data from suppliers is usually terrible — broken English, keyword-stuffed descriptions, low-quality images with watermarks. You can't sell with that.

Set your pricing

When setting prices, think about your total costs:

• Product cost from the supplier
• Shipping cost per unit
• Ad spend you'll need to sell one unit (estimate $5-15 when starting out)

A good rule of thumb: your selling price should be at least 2.5x your total cost. So if a product costs $8 from AliExpress with $4 shipping, your total cost is $12. You'd want to sell it for at least $30.

Translate for international markets

Don't put all your eggs in one basket. Import 3-5 products in your niche to start with. This gives you options to test which ones resonate with your audience.
